Multi days Camel Riding in Merzouga Dunes

We are flexible to organize your excursions according to your choices and requirements: Depending on the time of your arrival at the Merzouga desert. The excursions always start in the morning after breakfast at your hotel. Then the camel drivers load their camels with food, blankets, and all the necessary items for this adventure that will take us through the black desert and the dunes of Erg Chebbi.  These trips will allow you to discover the small oases hidden in the middle of the dunes where you will spend the night. An opportunity to enjoy the total calm and a starry night. A delicious dinner will be served around a fire. The night will be under the tents or on the beautiful canvas. Waking up so early today will allow you to witness the sunrise on the peaks of the dunes. After a breakfast prepared by your guide, you will leave for a 2 hours drive to reach your next destination. During this stop, your camel driver will prepare lunch in the shade of the tamarisk trees. After a break after lunch, you will take the road again to arrive at nomads’ families in the middle of the black desert. An opportunity to experience the daily life of the nomads and get an idea of their activities and gastronomy. This night, you will have an opportunity to learn how to prepare traditional oven bread or couscous. Dinner will be taken with the nomadic family.     The next day, you will leave after a breakfast prepared by the nomadic women. you will head to a small oasis in the middle of the desert where you will have a break for lunch. afterward, you will leave for a luxury bivouac where you will spend the night.    The day after, you have the choice to return by camel to your hotel or with the 4×4. In general, here is an activity example of a Camel riding in the Merzouga desert.     Day 1: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi dunes – Nomadic family
After breakfast; you will make the departure with your guide crossing the dunes of the erg chebbi. your hike includes stops according to your choice to admire the landscapes of the dunes. After 2 hours of travel, you will stop for lunch. The camel driver will prepare bread baked in the sand. This is an opportunity to have a culinary experience of the nomads. In the afternoon, you will make another 2 to 3 hours drive to arrive at the nomads’ home, where you will spend the night. Dinner will be a traditional couscous. an atmosphere under the stars around a fire will finish your day’s stage.
      Day 2: Nomad tent – Oasis in the middle of the dunes – Merzouga
The alarm clock will be so early today to be able to attend the sunrise on the tops of the dunes. After breakfast, you will take your way to a small oasis in the middle of the dunes for lunch. After a break after lunch, you will make the departure to reach your hotel at the foot of the dunes of Merzouga and this is the end of your 2-day program.
