New Year’s Eve tour in Sahara Merzouga

Day 1 (December, 30): Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Gorge Dades.
Today, your “New Year’s Eve tour” departs for Ouarzazate, the old caravan town located on the road of silk and salt in the eastern foothills of Atlas. we explore the spectacular landscapes of the High Atlas via the Tizi-in-Tichka Pass( 2,260 meters high). stop at the famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, the UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. the lunch will be in the Kasbah in a local restaurant. Finally, reach the gorges of Dades where you spend the night in the heart of gorges.

Day 2 (December, 31): Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga
Today, your “New Year’s Eve tour” continues. We leave for the dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. We pass through Todra Gorge in Tinghir where you go for a walk on the gorges at High Falaise. After, you continue to Erfoud where you visit the marble factories to see products of fossil manufacturing. The journey continues to the dunes of Merzouga. In Merzouga, a camel trek waits for you to go to the luxury desert camp. We spend the night in the middle of the dunes under the nomad tent. an opportunity to take pictures of the sunset and sunrise on the dunes.

Day 3 (January, 1): Merzouga (visit nomad tent and Khamlia Gnawa village)
 After breakfast, you depart BEGAA village to visit the shark’s teeth. Continue to Khamliya, the village of descendants slaves of sub-Saharan peoples of Malian or Guinean origin. Opportunity to see the dance and music Gnawa. The night will be in a hotel in Merzouga.

Day 4 (Jannury, 2): Merzouga – Errachidia – Ifrane – Fez
We leave Merzouga for Fez through Ziz Gorges. Visit the blue spring of Meski in Errachidia. The lunch will be in Midelt city. Then, you cross the Atlas Mountains by the Zad Pass (2.178m).
