Day 1: Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Mhamid (Erg Lihoudi) or Erg Chigaga
The first day of our epic adventure “Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga” starts with us picking you up from your hotel in Ouarzazate at 8 am. Get ready to be blown away as we journey towards the desert, passing through the breathtaking Anti-Atlas Mountains and the stunning palm groves of Draa. We’ll make a pit stop at Tamnougalt to explore the awe-inspiring Kasbah and charming village before heading on toward Zagora for a quick bite.

Then, it’s off to Tamgroute, the village of talented potters and home to an incredible library containing ancient manuscripts. As the day winds down, we’ll venture even deeper into the desert and reach M’hamid for a sunset camel ride to our tented accommodation – unless you opt to go further to Erg Chigaga, where you’ll witness some of the most sublime natural beauty in the world.

.Day 2: M’hamid or Erg Chigaga – Ouarzazate
After assisting the sun rise over the dunes, you will make your way back to Ouarzazate via the stunning Draa Valley and Agdez. If you missed any must-see stops on day one or simply want to explore at your own pace, today’s schedule is flexible. Don’t miss the opportunity to swing by the charming old Jewish quarter of Amzerou near Zagora on the way back. the end of your excursion “Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga”.
