Day 1 : Ouarzazate – Roses Valley – Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges
Today, Let’s hit the road early morning from Ouarzazate and explore the mesmerizing Dades and Todra gorges. En route, we’ll make a pit stop at the exotic Skoura oasis and visit the stunning Kasbah of Amridil. Keep your spirits high as we drive through Kela’a M’gouna, the charming valley of roses, where we’ll take a short coffee break. The fun begins as we go off-roading on the road of a thousand kasbahs, and have lunch at the Dades Gorges. In the afternoon, stretch your legs as we’ll take a walk alongside the Boumalne Dades valley before heading off to our riad for the night in the peaceful Todra gorge.
Day 2 : Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga desert
Let’s kick off the day with a filling breakfast, followed by a stroll through the Tinghir palm grove. From there, we’ll cruise on over to the Merzouga dunes via the stunning Ziz Valley, taking in the oasis of Tafilalet along the way. By lunchtime, we’ll hit up Erfoud where a tasty meal awaits us. Come afternoon, we’ll venture off to the Merzouga dunes for an epic camel ride in the desert. You won’t want to miss the breathtaking sunset from the top of the 250m Erg Chebbi dunes! After that, it’s time for dinner and some seriously luxurious camping accommodations.
Day 3 : Merzouga desert – Alnif – Tazarine – Nqob – Ouarzazate
If you’re up early enough, you’re in for a show – the sunrise over the dunes is a spectacular sight to behold. But after breakfast, it’s time to hit the road from Merzouga to Ouarzazate, making stops in the charming villages of Rissani, Alnif, Tazzarine, and N’Qob for a tasty lunch break.
In the afternoon, we’ll cruise along the picturesque Draa Valley and the historic caravan route, surrounded by lush palm trees and plenty of ancient kasbahs, including the famous Tamnougalte. As the day winds down, we’ll make our way over the Anti-Atlas and tackle the mountain pass of Tizi-n-Tinfifite (1660m) before arriving in Ouarzazate.
